Platinum-selling singer and songwriter Ricky Martin is back with the release of his first studio album in six years, “Musica+Alma+Sexo” on 18th April in the UK and will be heading to London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo this July as part of his world tour.

The eagerly awaited album became the #1 selling Latin album at Amazon in the US on the strength of pre-sales alone, hitting the Top 10 in the US Billboard chart upon its release.

The fun, uptempo album features a number of self-empowering tracks that reflect both the singer’s charismatic spirit and deeper outlook on life. The official audio and audio streams of its first single, “The Best Thing About Me Is You” (featuring Joss Stone) has already generated more than 3 million views on YouTube, with the Latin version of the single topping both the ‘Hot Latin Songs’ and the ‘Latin Pop Airplay’ charts in the US.

Ricky has so far had two Platinum albums in the UK, “Ricky Martin” in 1999 and “Sound Loaded” in 2000. His worldwide smash hit single “Livin’ La Vida Loca” sold over 1 million copies in the US alone; hitting the UK  #1 spot in 1999 and spending 33 weeks in the chart. Ricky has now released nine studio albums in total (six in English and three in Spanish) and sold over 60 million albums worldwide.
