Black Uhuru, Family Atlantica, Skerryvore, Niteworks, Freestylers and Krafty Kuts are among the first wave of artists set to appear at this years Knockengorroch World Ceilidh, which takes place from 27th - 29th May at Knockengorroch Farm, Castle Douglas.

Other artists added to the bill include Mungo’s Hi Fi Sound System plus special guests, London Bulgarian Choir, Funke and the Two Tone Baby, The Turbans, Habadekuk, Elephant Sessions, Awry, Nubiyan Twist, K.O.G and the Zongo Brigad, Orkestra Del Sol, Auntie Flo, Optimo with JD Twitch and Jonnie Wilkes, 47SOUL, SP23 – CRYSTAL DISTORTION, 69db, & IXINDAMIX, Radical Dance Faction, Afriquoi DJ set, Halycon, Dangleberries, Samedia Shebeen, Electrikal Sound System, Cosmic, Basstonik, Cera Impala, Monosapiens, Conscious Route, Grousebeater Sound System, Urban Folk Crowd, Mayawaska, PJ Coyle, RooDBoy, Ragga Muffin and Ewan McLennan.

Knockengorroch is a family friendly festival set in its own beautiful glen in the stunning upland landscape of the Galloway Hills. 

The festival brings a feast of music and entertainment to this natural amphitheatre to celebrate. Born in 1998 they stay true to their roots, existing with sustainability, love, the story of the mountains and those that came before them, great music, arts and multi-culturalism as their primary motives. The festival has one of the friendliest crowds, with a huge range of excellent musical acts/genres and an unrivalled atmosphere!
