It is with regret that in the light of the recent adverse weather conditions and the prospect of further heavy rain next week, the organisers have concluded that a lost weekend will have to be cancelled.

Our paramount concern is the health and safety of the public, artists, crew and volunteers and we cannot guarantee that their safety will not be compromised.

The site at Rutland Water is unproven for an event of this size and we believe that with no history of how the site will cope with further heavy rainfall, it would be irresponsible of us to continue.

We wish to offer our sincere apologies to everyone who was going to attend a lost weekend and offer our thanks to all those involved for all their help and support.

Further information will appear here in the next few days, but our primary concern is to inform all those who were expecting to be at a lost weekend and we would ask everyone to pass the word around.
