Hi all

The 2011 Worcester Music Festival starts today and will see 244 artists perform over 350 gigs in 32 venues in Worcester city centre, from the Cap n Gown all the way down to the Diglis Weir where the Organ of Corti has taken residence for the weekend.

You can pick up a copy of our festival guide from the Tourist Information Centre, Guildhall, Worcester Arts Workshop and many of the other venues in our list. If you have any questions, you can call the festival hotline on 07804 819818.

99.5% of our gigs are free of charge this year and in return for a weekend of free live music, if you feel like buying a raffle ticket (or three) and/or donating to our charity- Maggs Day Centre, then please speak to one of our collectors as they make their way around the venues. They will all be carrying official WMF ID and, trust us, you won't miss them!

As is always the case with any music festival, there are some last minute changes to the line-up that we've only heard about since we went to print on our guide. We apologise if this disappoints but although we take measures to prevent it, there is unfortunately sometimes nothing that can be done about this.
