A beautiful sunny day at Reading’s Madejski Stadium plays host to The Allstarz Summer Party Concert, the UK's biggest pop stars were in attendance along with some of the brightest up and coming pop acts the country has seen for a few years.
Getting the party started were JLS and although very late arriving due to a gig earlier in the day they soon had the crowd on their feet entertaining them with their hits, number 1's a plenty! They also did a great cover of Maroon 5’s Payphone. Despite this being one of their final performances, they were all in very cheeky and playful mood, which went down great with the fans. Aston entertained with his usual flips and all the boy's gave a fantastic performance.
Up and coming acts followed such as Steve Appleton, The Vamps and Charlie Brown. X-Factors Amelia Lily came on stage looking gorgeous in a geek chic dress and performed her hits.
Union J, Lawson and Wiley all had the crowd in the palm of their respective hands. Wiley performing his new hit single 'Lights On' with singer Angel.
Jessie J rounded off the show with many of her biggest hits including, Price Tag and Do it Like a Dude. Mid-set she did an amazing tribute to her youth in a mid 80’s club classic style and covered I Found Lovin’, Aint Nobody & Never too Much. She also did a stunning rendition of Aerosmith’s 'I don’t want to miss a thing' and finishing her set with her new single ‘Wild’ which she had only performed once before at the Sound of Change concert earlier that day.
Pop at its very best, British to the core, we know how to throw a party..... Next time invite all your friends, family even your granny, after all everyone loves a good party.
