The Great Escape has added a further 150 artists to what is already a great line up including Rejjie Snow, The Fedz, Kojey Radical, Liv Dawson and Charlotte Day Wilson.
Liv Dawson says: “Really excited for The Great Escape this year, it's a festival I've always wanted to play, can't wait to see everyone there!”
Also added to the bill are: Rat Boy, Rory Wynne, Daniel Wakeford, Gabrielle Aplin, Fickle Friends, UK Afriquoi , Madame Gandhi, Pom Poko, Orla Gartland, HYPERCULTE and Flamingods.
Event Manager Kevin Moore said; “With less than 8 weeks to go, we have one of the most diverse and exciting festival line-ups out there. We really can’t wait for everyone to explore the different venues, discover a new favourite artist and be completely wrapped up in the new talent coming from across the world.”
The Great Escape kicks starts the festival season, introducing the artists and sounds of 2017. With over 300 bands playing in 30 venues over 3 days. In addition to pre-publicised performances, impromptu street gigs spring up all over town. In addition to the music there are 3 days of seminars where the movers and shakers of the industry host debates and workshops.
