BoomTown’s fifth line-up announcement for the Psychedelic Stage Line-up has been revealed. Supported by three of the UK’s top Psy promoters, IllumiNaughty, Tribe of Frog and Elixir of Life, its three stages are spread across the city and unite crews, artists and party people from all over the international Psychedelic Trance, Progressive Techno and Hi-Tech community.

After a resoundingly successful debut at Chapter 7, the 6000-capacity Psy Forest returns to its magical woodland location behind the Wild West district. Headlining proceedings are some true pioneers of the Psy Trance genre; Simon Posford will be performing under his Hallucinogen alias and a DJ set as one half of Shpongle, French live act Hilight Tribe bring their acoustic take on Trance, Psy-rocker Skazi touches down from Israel, plus Dutch duo GMS and German producer Neelix. Representing the more experimental end of the Psychedelic spectrum are veterans Gaudi, Ozric Tentacles and Orb Sound System.

Now a BoomTown institution, Tribe of Frog’s wooded wonderland in the Halfway Woods will once again showcase the best in Psy Trance and Progressive, featuring the likes of Brainiac, K.i.M, Sinerider, M-Theory, llegal Machines, Illegal Sensations, Filterheads and Neuroplasm.

Located deep in Chinatown is So Bang Psy, a street venue dedicated to the hard and fast Psy sub-genre of Hi-Tech. Artists include Loose Connection, Apollyon, Skyhighatrist, Act One and Refried Dreams.
