BoomTown's Copper County, formerly known as Wild West, is the backdrop for one of the largest, immersive and theatrical experiences ever to be showcased at a festival.
The show will be underpinned by multiple genres of music which encompass everything from world, folk and jazz through to blues and americana bluegrass. The Old Mines will once again play host to a wide range of music from throughout the world including Amadou & Mariam with their trademark polyrhythmic melodies, Havana Meets Kingston bridging Cuba and Jamaica and the Barking Bard Billy Bragg. Plus Syrian native Omar Soulyman and Sudanese-American Alsarah & The Nubatones performing a soulful blend of afrobeats and world music.
The Rusty Spurs, will bring together a wonderful collection of blues and country, including the South West’s Hodmaddery, Zipheads with their unique style of Rock’n’Roll with an Irish finish and The Urban Voodoo Machine.
At Crazy Calamities festival goers can enjoy the sounds of The Midnight Zu, Paul The Kid (Night Gaunts), The Scribes meets Bison Theory, Benji and Hibbz, and Stompy's Playground.
BoomTown Fair takes place from Thursday 9th - Sunday 12th August at the Matterley Estate, Hampshire. The festival offers a festival like no other with 9 discrete districts offering a truly immersive experience. Tickets for the festival have now sold out.
