British Summer Time Review - The Cure

Another scorching day at Hyde Park and another sell out crowd to see The Cure celebrate their 40th anniversary, yes 40 years since their first appearance at at The Rocket pub in Crawley.  As they walked on stage The Cure received one of the most rousing receptions I have ever heard for a band at Hyde Park.  The band kicked off their 29 song set with 'Plainsong' full of  from their   walked on stage Robert Smith , jokingly blocking the sunlight with his hands.
