It is the festivals intention to give an opportunity to around 4 breaking acts - as there will only be the one stage, they cannot feature more than this. Because of the limited numbers, they can afford to be very "picky". 

Based on the information you provide, by the end of February, they will draw up a short-list. They will then arrange to see everyone on our short-list, performing live - at a real venue, in front of a real crowd. They are not only looking for artists who can reproduce on stage what they have done in a recording studio/their bedroom, they will also be looking for acts that can entertain and engage a crowd.
