Club Nights this season feature some of the UK’s hottest music festivals, clubs and record labels. A stellar line up of DJs will commandeer the rink-side decks for late night skate sessions. Bring a group, dress to impress as you take to the ice, then continue the party with friends over a cocktail or mulled wine in Tom’s Skate Lounge.

Ibiza favourites We Love host the opening Friday night with disco legend Dimitri From Paris bringing his ice cool vibes to Somerset House. Dimitri is joined by Ministry of Sound residents The Cosmonauts.
It's Josie and Rob da Bank’s creative vision that sets Bestival apart. Whilst the massive musical brain of Rob ensures the Bestival line-up is the most eclectic you’ll ever experience, it’s Josie’s creative wand that casts its magic over Bestival land. And it’s this uniqueness that makes Bestival a wondrous world of discovery and adventure that will inspire peace, love and dancing not only in September but all year round. For this very special event, Rob da Bank will be joined by Bestival favourites Tythe and Dan Le Sac.
Bugged Out Weekender Winter Warm-Up
Bugged Out is now in its 18th year making it one of the UK’s longest running club nights, having boasted LFO at their first night back in November 1994. Since then they’ve had everyone from Daft Punk, Green Velvet, The Chemical Brothers, Richie Hawtin, Tiga, Boys Noize and Carl Craig play at their nights. DJs conducting the rinkside takeover will include Tayo, Dan Beaumont and Johnno.
Nocturnal Groove presents The Shapeshifters
From their London base, The Shapeshifters and Nocturnal Groove have been purveyors of the finest house music since 2004. Well known in London for their longstanding ‘Nocturnal’ residencies at The End/AKA and Turnmills, The Shapeshifters and Nocturnal Groove will be bringing the ‘Nocturnal’ vibe to Somerset House. Get your skates on!
Future Disco Skate
Future Disco, the award winning compilation series and worldwide party people, supply the very best in 21st Century Disco with another evening at Somerset House for the Future Disco Skate. In true Roller Ice Disco style they will be throwing shapes round the rink and cutting up the ice to a soundtrack supplied by SlothBoogie and Sean Brosnan. Get your skate on.
Vintage on Ice: The Torch curated by Snowboy
The award winning Vintage Festival brings three of their uniquely themed nightclubs to Somerset House ice rink for a series of glamorous one off parties. The Vintage Nightclubs recreate the sights, sounds and scenes that shaped pop culture and engaged a generation. Take to the ice in your vintage finery (not obligatory) as our Best in Show skating parades will reward all those who look fabulous.
An unrivalled evening of ‘40s big band standards, swing and jive from DJs Tim Hellzapoppin' and Rob Be-Bop.
Vintage on Ice: Let It Rock
An evening of brooding rock ‘n’ roll, bopping rockabilly and shuffling rhythm from DJs Kav Kavanagh and Suzy Q.
Vintage on Ice: Soul Casino
Deep funk to northern, rare groove to classic soul and authentic R&B mod sounds from DJs Snowboy and Eddie Piller.
Kinky Malinki
Kinky Malinki have been running club events in the UK and around the globe for well over a decade, featuring a wealth of the most sought after DJs on the circuit. The Kinky Malinki Club Night will feature two of their longest standing residents, Grant Richards and Grant Nalder. Expect a fiery blend of house music.
The Loose Cannons' Xmas Skate Party
After stellar US remixes for Rihanna, Brandon Flowers, Lady Gaga and Beyonce, and hitting 1.6million views on Youtube with their re-work of the Ray Charles classic, Hit the Road Jack, the Cannons will be returning to Somerset House ice rink with the nu-disco dancefloors they started out on for 2012.
Ministry of Sound Radio
Ministry of Sound Radio takes to the ice. The UK’s biggest online radio station, which broadcasts 24/7 from the world famous club, returns to Skate for a second year. This time round, Ministry of Sound Radio residents bring with them two dance music heavyweights. First up is Sister Bliss, founding member of UK supergroup Faithless. She will be joined by XPress 2, whose single ‘Lazy’ (featuring David Byrne) reached #2 in the UK Singles Chart in 2002.
Joey Negro (Z Records)
Joey Negro was one of the first artists to incorporate disco samples into house music, is widely considered an expert in all things funk, soul and disco-related and this year alone has collaborated with Gramophondzie and Shea Soul. Skate to a mix of house, disco and boogie, all remixed by the Best UK Remixer voted for by Mixmag and DJ Magazine.
DJ Mag Present...
DJ Mag, the world's leading dance music magazine curates a night on the ice. Selectors will include Moda Black with Jaymo and Andy George, as well a much anticipated set from Maxxi Sound System.
The Pool vs Electric Elephant on Ice!
UK artist agency The Pool join forces with the Electric Elephant Festival for one night only, in the spectacular surroundings of Somerset House ice rink. Electric Elephant's Luke Unabomber (Manchester’s underground dance music hero) will be bringing his winter disco alongside Pool party starters Matty J & Ben Terry.
LOVESICK presents DISCO ON ICE
This winter Lovesick will be wrapping up warm at the spectacular Somerset House. Get your skates on to the finest in classic and up-to-date disco hits played by Lovesick resident DJ's, ‘Dalston’s answer to the Queens of Noize’ (Time Out), bringing you the fun of a festival tent & the mischief of a cheeky house party in one dance filled night.
The Spacestation crew embarks on another mission to Somerset House ice rink again this year. Horse Meat Disco legend Severino will be on mission control alongside Spacestation duo Jordan & Jodie and Slothboogie.
Ministry of Sound All Stars
Ministry of Sound Residents take over the Somerset House ice rink again this year, showcasing an array of talent across the board. Shane Patrick and Tim Cullen are not to be missed, and we are very excited to announce a set from DJ and Producer Michael Woods.
Bad Zuke
Producer, DJ and remixer Bad Zuke’s debut single ‘Everybody Talking’ was featured on the hallowed Defected Most Rated Ibiza 2012 compilation album. DJ gigs at Bestival and Somerset House’s own Film4 Summer Screen followed. Get 2013 off to a bang with Bad Zuke’s mix of house, disco and everything in between.
Ibiza Rocks
After a huge summer in the Balearics hosting the biggest bands and DJ's in the world, Ibiza Rocks brings the party to London to host the Closing Party of Skate at Somerset House with Ibiza Rocks DJs Grainger, Simon Guirao and Ste-v-something.
