Outside of the music, the festival also features performers of all kinds, stalls selling their wares as well as some pretty awesome attractions and activities.
Following on from the hugely successful inaugural festival in 2012, which featured Razorlight, Reverend & The Makers, The Sunshine Underground, King Charles, Chris Helme and many more, Crooked Ways is looking to attract thousands more fans through the gates at next year’s event to be held on Saturday 1st June 2013 in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.
At Crooked Ways we have our very own stage dedicated to artists from across Yorkshire. This stage is a mix of all genres, some may say a musical casserole. And we are pleased to announce that submissions are now being taken for the Crooked Ways Presents stage. Details on the application process can be found on our website HERE
Crooked Ways Promoter, Scott Ward: “Across Yorkshire we have thousands of immensely talented yet unsigned artists, which is why we want to give them the chance to play in front of thousands of people. At Crooked Ways festival we have a stage solely devoted to artists from Yorkshire, the Crooked Ways Presents stage. Last year on the stage we had wide ranging genres of music from acoustic to punk to electro and I’m sure 2013 won’t be any different. So if you’re in a band and fancying the opportunity to play in front of thousands of people then get applying. Good luck for anyone who does apply!”
Applications are now open and will close on 31st January.
