Boasting some of the finest acts around including the biggest pop sensation to emerge from the UK in the past year, Hurts, plus high octane New York disco-punk from We Are Scientists, sublime shoegaze bliss from The Joy Formidable, stunning vocal loop action from Ed Sheeran, New Zealand’s amazing The Naked And Famous, hotly tipped singer songwriter Benjamin Francis Leftwich, sub bass overlord SBTRKT and many more of the most exciting bands you’re likely to see all year, Dot To Dot will be bring the best music to your door step.
Dot To Dot Organiser Anton Lockwood said: “I’m extremely pleased and proud that we’ve secured Hurts’ first ever UK festival headline performances for Dot to Dot Festival in Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester. I was lucky enough to see their performance at the NME Awards, and can say it’s a very special show – only a few days to go now – can’t wait to see them, and all the other fantastic artists we have playing over the festival”
Bristol will see the O2 ACADEMY hosting Hurts, We Are Scientists, The Naked and Famous, Ed Sheeran and Hit Ups. O2 ACADEMY LATE NIGHT will feature Mat Horne's Session with a Mat Horne DJ Set, The Trash Society DJs, Push Music DJs plus Special Guests. Performing at O2 ACADEMY 2 will be Josh Osho, Romance, Royal Republic, Fixers, All The Young and Bravo Brave Bats.
Gracing the COOLER are The Phoenix Foundation, Foreign Office, Braids, The Chakras, Colourmusic, Born Blonde and Count To Fire. Appearing at THEKLA are Blawan, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (Live), SBTRKT (Live), Hyetal (Live), Becoming Real (Live), Trophy Wife, Dom, Alpines, The Holidays, Niki And The Dove, Wolf Gang, Allie Moss and Broken Arm of Love.
The THEKLA BAR will play host to King Charles, Is Tropical, Get People, Yaaks, Veto, To Kill A King, Stagecoach, Hysterical Injury and The Fan Jets. FLEECE will feature Morning Parade, Guillemots, Alessi's Ark, Kill Cassidy, Dirty Goods, The Lines, Swimming, Zebedy Rays and Koshiro
At LOUISIANA, catch Cults, Tom And The Tides, Hot Horizons, Fauns, Various Cruelties, David’s Lyre, Jake Morley and Cajita. Artists playing the ANSON ROOMS will be ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, The Joy Formidable, Dananananaykroyd, Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Idles.
Sunday’s action in Nottingham will be extra special as Talbot Street will be closed to traffic and will feature an outside bar, seating area and a number of market stalls including local vintage retailers Kathleen & Lillys and Dorothy's Wardrobe (formally Kitch), custom shoe designers, handmade jewellery and much more. 28 Barbers will be setting up their temporary salon in the Rig, and they will also be hosting a charity cake sale (hopefully hair-free!). Homemade will be cooking up a feast with a BBQ, Homemade Paella, gourmet burgers, toasties and there will of course be brownies!!
Nottingham’s musical action will see ROCK CITY MAINHALL host Hurts, We Are Scientists, The Naked and Famous, Ed Sheeran, Swimming, Alpines and Long Dead Signal and ROCK CITY MAINHALL LATE NIGHT will feature Mat Horne's Session with a Mat Horne DJ Set, The Trash Society DJs, Push Music DJs plus Special Guests.
Performing at ROCK CITY BASEMENT will be Royal Republic, Romance, Frontiers, The Lines, To Kill A King, Foreign Office, The Suzukis, Zebedy Rays and Baby Godzilla. Gracing TRENT MAIN ROOM are ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, The Joy Formidable, Dananananaykroyd, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Braids, Hot Horizons and Spotlight Kid.
Appearing at TRENT THE PULSE are Kogumaza, Colourmusic, I Dream In Colour, Jake Morley, Stagecoach, Veto and Royal Gala. THE BODEGA will play host to King Charles, Cults, Fixers, Alessi's Ark, Chakras, Ronika, Tom And The Tides, Lanterns On The Lake, Various Cruelties, The Chakras, Lux Lisbon and Will Jeffrey. Dot to Dot’s final day on Bank Holiday Monday in Manchester will see ACADEMY 1 hosting Hurts, Darwin Deez, The Naked and Famous and Ed Sheeran. ACADEMY 2 will feature We Are Scientists, The Joy Formidable, Dananananaykroyd, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Foreign Office, Swimming and Golden Glow
Performing at CLUB ACADEMY will be The Phoenix Foundation, Is Tropical, Alpines, Cults, Trophy Wife, Braids, Dom, Niki And The Dove, Veto and Letters To Fiesta. Gracing ACADEMY 3 are Morning Parade, Royal Republic, Romance, Fixers, Wolf Gang, The Lines, To Kill A King, Frontiers, Stagecoach and The Kill Van Kulls
