Doune The Rabbit Hole Festival now with added Malcolm Middleton, last chance for £78 tickets, Yurts and “Posh Camping”!
Falkirk-raised performer Malcolm Middleton to play festival at Duncarron Fort.
We’re delighted that Malcolm Middleton, known for his solo albums and as half of legendary Scottish band Arab Strap, will be joining us at this year’s Doune The Rabbit Hole. He will be bringing his band to perform his recently released Human Don’t Be Angry project at the festival. Also joining the bill: Chemikal Underground’s recent signing Miaoux Miaoux, Plantet Mu’s Rudi Zgadlo and the award winning Clout Theatre Company.
Weekend camping tickets are available now priced £78 but THIS PRICE WILL INCREASE TO £88 on JUNE 1st so get your tickets NOW! HERE
We’d also like to draw attention to some special offers for campers at this year’s festival – for those who’d like to upgrade their accommodation, we’ve teamed up with Red Kite Yurts to provide some extra comfort to the campsite. Contact them directly - http://redkiteyurts.com/ - and get your yurt plus Festival Weekend Ticket from just £62.50 per person (based on sharing a 12-berth yurt). There will also be an exclusive and extremely limited “posh camping” area at nearby Drum Farm, with showers and breakfast provided for an additional £20 per person for the weekend.
Doune The Rabbit Hole Festival, which takes place at Duncarron Fort, near Kilsyth, on the weekend of August 24-26th 2012, will welcome headliners The Phantom Band, King Creosote and Hidden Orchestra.
Other bands on the bill include Pram, Kid Canaveral, Aidan Moffat & Bill Wells, Sparrow & The Workshop, Three Blind Wolves, Bwani Junction, Holy Mountain, The Imagineers, Withered Hand and JD Twitch (Optimo).
This year the festival moves to a spectacular new home at Duncarron Fort. Situated in woods in the Carron Valley, near Kilsyth, the site is a recreation of an early medieval motte and bailey fort, a clan chief’s residence built as a living history attraction by the Clanranald Trust.
Doune The Rabbit Hole is a not-for-profit music and arts festival taking place for the third year running. The festival aims to raise awareness of the benefits of creativity for children and adults alike. Originally sited near Doune, this year the festival moves to a new location at Duncarron, a recreation of a Medieval fort.
