Duran Duran are set to perform at the Eden Project as part of the BBC Music Day on Friday 3rd June.
Duran Duran said: “We’re really proud to be Ambassadors for BBC Music Day and to bring the Paper Gods tour to the stunning surroundings of the Eden Project. We’ve wanted to play there for many years. We love the idea of BBC Music Day; it’s a fantastic way to bring people together across the country and to promote live music. So, whether it’s taking part in one of the events or watching or listening to the artists who are part of this year’s celebration, we hope everyone gets involved in this very exciting initiative.”
Bob Shennan, Controller, Radio 2 and Director, BBC Music, said:“Duran Duran Live at Eden will be a perfect finale to this year’s BBC Music Day. We’ll be broadcasting the concert live on BBC Radio 2, so wherever people are in the UK, they will be able to enjoy their new music and sing along to their classic hits.”
