ELECTRIC CASTLE will be the first festival in Romania to take electronic clubbing music and live sounds to a castle in ruins. 

ELECTRIC CASTLE represents an idea, concept and event created and planned by BOILER EVENTS, the artistic force behind Boiler Club – Cluj-Napoca’s clubbing scene breakthrough. Boiler is an unconventional place in an unconventional setting, a storage tank for creative music and artists. Placed in the former water injection room in the actual basement of The Paintbrush Factory/Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Boiler is well integrated in a cultural and nonconformist landscape.

Alongside BOOHA.RO, BOOHA COLLEGE, BOOHA BAR, AMERICAN EXPERIENCE we will make sure that this innovative music festival will shake up the way people interact with music.

Outside of Cluj-Napoca, the biggest castle in Transylvania. Formerly known as the Transylvanian Versailles, the Bánffy castle of Bontida is one of the most beautiful historic buildings in the Carpathian basin. 24 acres, 6 buildings: castle, stables, chapel, flour mill;

hundreds of years filled with history: former aristocratic residence, military hospital, drivers’ school, C.A.P. (Agricultural Production Cooperative), children hospital, historical monument, under the Royal House’s auspice.
