Brownstock Festival in Essex has made a very exciting line up announcement this week. Example will headline the Saturday night at the intimate festival on the farm, in Stow Maries, Essex.
Example is seriously hot property this summer and is fitting Brownstock Festival on the 2 ,3 , 4th Sept, into his busy sell out summer tour. His single'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' went to number 1 in March 2011 and was dubbed 'The Hottest Record in the World' by the BBC's Zane Lowe and his new single 'Stay Awake' is this week record of the week on Radio 1.
Example will headline the Saturday night of this year's Brownstock Festival - on the same weekend as he releases his new album 'Playing in the Shadows'.
The Festival is Essex's boutique style festival with a host of quirky side stages and entertainments taking place during the weekend alongside an impressive line up. Athlete, Ms Dynamite and Pendulum DJ set will also be headlining but since the festival is about more that music there will be plenty on other attractions during the weekend. Homegrown Aberdeen Angus beef, comedy shows, free running displays, Hill Billy fancy dress competitions (hosted by the Southend Art group Tenbomb), and a 24 hour silent disco that doesn't stop until the last party-goer drops. And for the first time the festival will also have The Piano Bar, an acoustic chill out bar in the campsite with live acoustic acts and piano playing.
A limited amount of Earlybird tickets are still on sale at £58 for the weekend's festivities and can be bought from See Tickets, View London, from here, or without an online booking fee through a variety of outlets in Essex. Tickets are limited to a capacity of 5000 for a truly unique small festival feel.
Adam Brown, Owner of Brownstock Festival says 'I saw Example live a couple of weeks ago. He is such a talented artist and perfect for a live festival performance as entertaining a crowd is his strength. We are delighted to have him heading to Brownstock for this year's festival – I really hope I get time to see his set!'
