Solfest, the multi-genre festival, is returning to North Lakes Country Park in Silloth, Cumbria, from from Thursday  22nd to 25th August, celebrating its 20th anniversary with a spectacular line up. Anticipating 10,000 music enthusiasts, the festival promises a diverse musical experience across ten stages, featuring genres like rock, drum and bass, folk, reggae, and world music. Confirmed acts include De La Soul with a live band, The Wailers, Peter Hook & The Light, The Bluetones, Alabama 3, N-Trance, Utah Saints, Republica, Dutty Moonshine Big Band, and The Amy Winehouse Band, with the Friday headliner yet to be revealed.

Nestled in North Lakes Country Park with a view of the Solway Coast, Solfest stands out as an independent, family-friendly festival that values creativity and features a dedicated kids' area. The festival distinguishes itself by eschewing corporate sponsorship, opting for art and décor over advertisements, and is run by a team of volunteers. This approach creates an immersive and unique environment, inviting festivalgoers to explore and enjoy a celebration of music and art in a picturesque setting between the mountains of The Lake District and Southern Scotland.
