First wave of acts for Knockengorroch 2018 including  Transglobal Underground original line-up featuring Natacha Atlas, Cut Chemist, and African supergroup Les Amazones d’Afrique.

Knockengorroch World Ceilidh takes place from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th May at Carsphairn, Castle Douglas, Dumfries & Galloway, DG7 3TJ. The festival is a celebration of music from throughout the world. Knockengorroch remains true to its roots, actively promoting sustainability, love, arts.music and multi-culturism.

Other artists added to the bill include Blues, country and folk from My Baby, Anda Union who combine different styles from across the ethnic groups and traditions of Inner Mongolia, and Balkan Paradise Orchestra bringing an explosion of big Balkan brass and percussion sounds to Knock
