Latitude Festival the UK's premier music and arts festival have released details of the first wave of artists for 2017, including headliners The 1975, Mumford & Sons and Fleet Foxes.
Mumford & Sons will be curating the Obelisk Arena on Saturday, acts performing with them include: Glass Animals, Lucy Rose and The Very Best.
Speaking about the collaboration Mumford & Sons said, “This collaboration with Latitude is one of the most exciting things we're doing this year. Ever since we started working on Gentlemen of The Road Stopovers we've really enjoyed curating line-ups and sharing not only our own, but also sharing music of artists who we love and are listening to regularly. It's almost like creating a mix tape for a best friend, but instead it's a whole day of music, across multiple stages, with 40,000 people!”
Other artists appearing on the Obelisk Arena are with headliners The 1975 and Fleet Foxes are Goldfrapp, The Horrors, Tinariwen, The Japanese House, John Cale, The Divine Comedy, Grandaddy, Mavis Staples, Ward Thomas and Baloji.
The BBC Music stage will be headlined by Placebo, Jack Garratt, and Fatboy Slim, also appearing are Ride, The Head And The Heart, Sylvan Esso, The Radio Dept, Formation, Julia Jacklin, SOHN, A Blaze Of Feather, The Lemon Twigs, Maggie Rogers, Declan McKenna, Karen, Loyle Carner, Mount Kimbie, Ibibio Sound Machine, Kaleo, Lisa Hannigan and Tom Grennan.
Latitude Festival takes place from Thursday 13th - Sunday 16th July in the beautif surroundings Henham Park Estate, Southwold, Suffolk, NR34 8AN. simply the UK's best music and arts festival, truly a festival for the whole family young and old.
