Eliza Carthy & The Wayward Band, Usher’s Island, Blowzabella and The Young’uns are just some of the artists performing at FolkEast.Festival 2016, which takes place from 19th - 21st August at Glemham Hall Suffolk.

Other artists appearing include The Aldeburgh Young Musicians (with The Young'uns), Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys, Martin Newell & The Hosepipe Band, Chris Wood, Andy Irvine, Topette!!, Georgia Shackleton Trio, Rura, Moore Moss & Rutter, The Hut People, Sam Carter, Tir Eolas, The Roaring Trowmen, Daori Farrell, Gilmore & Roberts, The Swing Museum, Dan Walsh, Luke Jackson, Effra, John Dipper & Dave Malkin, Shorelark, The Broadside Boys and Daisy Vaughan.

FolkEast will also have traditional dance from Bof!, Proper English, Monty’s Maggot and The Hosepipe Band, plus Morris Dancing by Ouse Washes, Mortimer’s Morris, The Witchmen, Harlequin, Anstey, Golden Star and Pretty Grim.

FolkEast celebrates the best in folk, roots and acoustic music, while also playing host to traditional dance, music and craft workshops, innovative street theatre, children’s activities, exhibitions of quality arts and crafts and ceilidhs for those that just want to dance. What’s more, you’ll be able to eat good locally sourced food and drink!
