Sheffield is offering music fans more for nothing as Tramlines announces more acts for this year’s Tramlines.
Tramlines is a festival unlike any other. Entry is free and it delivers a line-up that would normally cost a packet.
Eugene McGuinness will be joining the festival line up that already includes Roots Manuva, We Are Scientists, Ms Dynamite, Field Music, Frankie & the Heartstrings James Yorkston, 65 Days of Static, Future of the Left, Toddla Sound, Mr Scruff and many more.
The festival runs from Friday 20 – Sunday 22 July 2012 and covers all musical genres from indie, electronica and blues to world music, folk and everything in between.
With over 70 venues taking part across the city Tramlines offers an eclectic mix of music Artmagic (Suede's Richard Oakes), Rebel MC with Nancy & Phoebe, Roska, Mark Morriss (The Bluetones), Keep Shelly In Athens and Grooverider have recently be added to the bill.
Further announcements are still expected, the latest raft of artists, in alphabetical order are:

Winner of Best Metropolitan Festival at the UK Festival Awards, Tramlines gives festival-goers a chance to see established artists alongside up and coming acts, across four outdoor stages and over 70 venues.
A wealth of Sheffield talent will also be taking to the stage. Every year Tramlines showcases some of Sheffield best acts.
Sarah Nulty, Festival Director said: “This is only the second announcement we have made but already the line up is looking pretty amazing. We still have loads more to come, last year we had over 600 artists playing across the festival so it just shows the level of diversity at Tramlines. There really is something for everyone.
“The key thing though is that the festival is free. No tickets, just turn up and see your favourite artists.”
The free for all festival, one of the biggest in Europe, gives festival-goers a chance to see Sheffield’s diverse musical community showcasing emerging and established artists. This year’s festival is again being sponsored by Nokia.
