The Funk & Soul Weekender 2017 which takes place at Pontins Camber Sands Holiday Park, New Lydd Road, Camber Sands, Sussex, TN31 7RL from Friday 12th - Sunday 14th May have announced that George Clinton And Funkadelic/Parliament will headline the festival.

Also added to the bill are: The Sugarhill Gang, Crazy P, Omar, Jordan Rakei, and Al Dobson Jr.

In addition to 30 bands and 40 DJ sets,there will be Echoes Disco Yoga, Jazz Dance classes, Glitter, Groovy Hula classes & shows Funkadelic Block parties, Tropical Pool parties, Nightspot Cinema, Disco Dodgeball competitions, Secret Activities & loads more!

Artists previously announced for The Funk & Soul Weekender are: Hot 8 Brass Band, Mr Scruff, Nubiyan Twist, Norman Jay, Akua Naru, Huey Morgan, Flamingods, United Vibrations, Harleigh Blu, Lakuta, Some Voices and Funk & Soul Disco Choir.
