Saint Etienne, The Aislers Set and The Spook School are among the first 22 artists to be confirmed for this year’s Indietracks Festival, which takes place from 29th -31st July at Midland Railway Centre, near Ripley in Derbyshire.

Also appearing are: Shopping, Expert Alterations, Flowers, Seazoo, Po!, Chrissy Barnacle, ¡Ay Carmela!, City Yelps, Soda Fountain Rag, Charla Fantasma, Vacaciones, Songs for Walter, Two White Cranes, Falling & Laughing, Maggie8, Lorna, Pete Green, The Charlie Tipper Conspiracy and Prizefighter.

Indietracks festival which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2016 takes place at the Midland Railway in Ripley. The site houses a whole range of lovingly restored steam diesels and locomotives. Festival goers are allowed to have unlimited rides on the steam railway over the weekend and full access to other railway attractions including a farm and museum.

Around 50 artists will play across four stages: the outdoor stage, the indoor stage, the church and on the steam trains themselves.
