Wychwood Festival, the UK’s fastest-growing family event, has announced James as its first 2025 headliner. The iconic Manchester indie rock band will take the main stage on Saturday, 31 May. Known for electrifying live performances and timeless hits like “Sit Down,” “Laid,” and “Come Home,” James continues to captivate audiences with their storytelling and musical innovation.

Fresh off recent arena dates and celebrating their first-ever UK Number 1 album, Yummy, released in April, the band will bring decades of material spanning 18 albums to the lush grounds of Cheltenham Racecourse. Their headline slot promises to be a highlight of the festival, offering fans the chance to experience this legendary nine-piece band at their creative best.

Running from 30 May to 1 June 2025, Wychwood Festival is renowned for its diverse line ups and family-friendly atmosphere. It combines music, comedy, arts, and hundreds of activities for all ages, alongside sensational food and drink offerings. Following a stellar 2024 event headlined by Sister Sledge, Texas, and Ocean Colour Scene, excitement is building for the upcoming edition.
