Doune The Rabbit Hole, Duncarron Fort, August 24-26 2012

Line Up Announcements: JD Twitch (Optimo), Withered Hand, The Lovely Eggs among acts added.

We’re delighted to announce more acts for Doune The Rabbit Hole Festival, which takes place at Duncarron Fort, near Kilsyth, on the weekend of August 24-26th 2012.

The Glasgow underground clubbing legend Optimo comes to the festival in the form of DJ, remixer, producer and label owner JD Twitch, who will play a set on Friday night.

Joining The Phantom Band, Aidan Moffat & Bill Wells and more on Friday we also welcome The Lovely Eggs from Lancaster, who embody the DIY ethos of the festival.

Saturday sees Withered Hand; fresh from a sell out gig in Edinburgh and the release of the first Fence Records Chart Ruse EP, Dan Wilson brings his self-depreciating but sharp lo-fi songs to Duncarron. Saturday also sees the return of improvisers Blurt where Ted Milton will be joined by Fur Hood. Also the poetry-music-film fusion of Neu! Reekie!

More bands are still to be added s

This year the festival moves to a spectacular new home at Duncarron Fort. Situated in woods in the Carron Valley, near Kilsyth, the site is a recreation of an early medieval motte and bailey fort, a clan chief’s residence built as a living history attraction by the Clanranald Trust.

Weekend camping tickets are available now priced £78 if purchased before April 1st, £88 there after.  Day tickets are also available TICKETS
