Kraftwerk have been revealed as the first headliner for bluedot 2019, the fourth instalment of the award-winning music, science and culture event at Cheshire’s iconic Jodrell Bank Observatory.

The influential German act will bring a special 3-D live performance to bluedot for it’s first UK headline festival performance following a limited number of sell-out UK theatre shows and special appearances at the Bilbao Guggenheim, New York’s Museum of Modern Art and London’s Tate Modern Turbine Hall. Bringing together music and performance art, Kraftwerk 3-D concerts are a true "Gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art.”

bluedot Festival takes place in the grounds of a deep space observatory. Set against a backdrop of the iconic Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank,from Thursday 18th - Sunday 21st July. bluedot combines a truly stellar line-up of music with a ground-breaking programme of live science experiments, expert talks and immersive artworks.
