Flipchart & Squeezebox is the creative partnership of Barnsley poet, broadcaster & comedian Ian McMillan and composer & accordionist Luke Carver Goss.

Poet, comedian & broadcaster Ian McMillan hosts weekly hit radio show The Verb. He is Yorkshire Planetarium’s Poet in Space, Poet-in-Residence for English National Opera, The Academy of Urbanism and Barnsley FC, Humberside Police’s Beat Poet, Yorkshire TV’s Investigative Poet and a regular on Pick of the Week, The Arts Show, The Today Programme, You & Yours and Have I Got News For You? He was featured with his Orchestra on The South Bank Show. His rip-roaring poetry shows are legendary!

Area 2 Youth Programme

Following the success of their Area2 programme last year, they are delighted to announce that they have a stronger than ever line-up of artists for you this year. See tomorrow’s stars in the intimate atmosphere of our famous Wold Top Marquee.
Join the youngsters and get a fresh look at what the music scene has to offer. The musicians will also be leading workshops over the weekend and will be appearing in a special Area 2 Showcase performance on the main stage.
