Levellers to headline Wychwood Festival

Wychwood Festival which takes place from Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th June at the home of National Hunt Racing has revealed its Saturday night headliner will be Levellers.

Levellers are still going strong after over 30 years in the game. They have long  been, and still are, one of the best live bands around and in 2020 they released new  studio album ‘Peace’ which entered the UK Official Album Charts at #8 - the band's  highest charting entry since 1997's Mouth to Mouth reached #5 and improving on  previous release We the Collective's #12 position in 2018.

For Saturday also, Ska legends The Selecter also join the bill, led by iconic  frontwoman Pauline Black who was recently awarded an OBE in the 2022 New  Years Honours. They’ll be bringing hits such as “On My Radio” and “Too Much  Pressure”. British soul legends The Real Thing will be hitting the stage, best known  for their hits “You To Me Are Everything”, “Can’t Get By without You” and “Can You  Feel The Force”. The group recently celebrated 50 years together! They’ll also be  joined by Skerryvore, Doctor & The Medics, Folk On, DJ Milf (from the legendary  Gloucestershire band EMF) and Wychwood favourite Basil Brush, whose legendary  foxy humour lives on for all generations will be joining the festival on Sunday.

All this in addition to what is Wychwood’s biggest line-up ever featuring Sophie  Ellis-Bextor, Deacon Blue, Peter Hook & The Light, Boney M, The Undertones,  The South, Dreadzone, Tankus The Henge and more alongside its biggest  workshop offering of over 60 workshops plus healing gardens, silent discos and of course gorgeous camping under the Prestbury Hills!
