Camp Bestival have revealed a new stage for this years festival 'Oberon’s Observatory' which will play host to country punk and all-girl garage rock to story-telling musicians and interactive theatre shows.
Rob da Bank says: “Never ones to rest on our laurels, we have another in a raft of brand new stages at Camp Bestival. If you’ve ever marvelled at the wonders of our Caravanserai area then you’re gonna love the steampunk spaceship fantasy boat ride of Oberon’s Observatory. From punk to garage folk to electronica it’s all going off on Oberon’s!”
Artists set to appear include Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, indie Americana from Old Sea Brigade, British Country Music chanteuse Laura Oakes, dreamy atmospheres from Beckie Margaret, and Norfolk-infused riff action from Graceland. Other acts performing will be Miss Kiddy and the Cads, Dat Brass, Cut a Shine Hoedown, Bring Your Own Brass (B.Y.O.B), Thrill Collins, Molteno, Maisy Banks and Mina Music.
There will also be a host of family shows: including The Two Man Travelling Medicine Show, Nick Cope Family Concert, Gareth P Jones: Ninja Alien Dinosaur Party!, and Theatre Tots: The Star That Rocked.
Launched in 2008 Camp Bestival has one a plethora of awards and its easy to see why as it is caters for the whole family.
The festival has dedicated areas for music, comedy, DJ's and children's entertainment, on Sunday night the castle will be bathed in an amazing fireworks spectacular with music programmed by Rob da Bank!
