The Live From Jodrell Bank returns this weekend bringing some of the most innovative artists performing in this unique and dramatic setting, marrying science and music and bringing the audience superlative sounds from earth and beyond. The bands will even project visuals onto the 76 metre Lovell telescope.

Saturdays event is headlined by Mercury & Brit Award winners Elbow, they will be ably supported by Field Music, Cherry Ghost, Lianne La Havas and Willy Mason

Sunday is headlined by the Modfather himself Paul Weller, supported by Graham Coxon, Gomez, Baxter Dury, Little Barrie, Jake Evans and Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show.

In addition to music there will be Science workshops throughout the weekend, on Sunday there will be a Scooter and Vintage Record Fair.  Also in view of Englands unexpected progress to the Quarter Finals of the European Championships, the match will be screened.
