The Music Crowns, founded in Essex by business partners Sam Gilbert and Adrian Smith, have announced confirmation of an amazing live aspect to their usual proceedings by launching the very first Music Crowns Festival to be held at Brentwood's Weald Country Park on 6th and 7th August 2011.
Headline acts already confirmed include Skepta, McLean, Fugative, Toploader, The Rifles, The Milk, Missing Andy, Stacey Solomon, Egypt, Mutya Buena and DJ sets from Brandon Block and Headphones & Heels with further names to be revealed shortly.
Music Crowns have already established themselves as the fastest growing and one of the most credible Unsigned Music Awards in the UK and Ireland. This year, as selected by judges such as SB.TV's Jamal 'Smokey Barz' Edwards (the UK's top youth broadcaster), Samantha Mumba, Skin from Skunk Anansie and Jon Morter the RATM Christmas No.1 Digital Campaigner, 30 lucky finalists will also perform amongst headline acts at the festival to an enviable sized crowd and media presence.
With a credible committee of judges once more, further fantastic prizes and opportunities and even a presentation at The House of Commons under their belts, the Music Crowns are fast becoming a recognised name in not only the unsigned music world but the music world full stop.
Sam Gilbert, Founder of Music Crowns commented, “We are really excited about the festival - it’s a magnificent opportunity for unsigned UK and Ireland acts to showcase their talent and the reaction to what we do has been mind-blowing, we've had great support from day one and I would like to thank everyone who has helped to make this happen!”
To enter an act (it’s FREE) and be in with a chance of performing at this year’s festival, simply visit the Music Crowns website: www.musiccrowns.co.uk and select your genre(s), entering an original MP3 track with photo and short biography.
