Wakestock are really excited to announce that RIZZLE KICKS, DJ FRESH LIVE, HIGH CONTRAST feat JESSY ALLEN & DYNAMITE MC and BURNS will be joining theire headliners DIZZEE RASCAL, CALVIN HARRIS and ED SHEERAN at Wakestock 2012.

RIZZLE KICKS have had a crazy 12 months. Their first single “Down With the Trumpets” spent 13 weeks in the Top 40 and was followed by more hits “When I Was A Youngster” and current smash  “Mamma Do The Hump”. Their debut album has already gone gold and they’re selling out shows everywhere they play across the UK.  We booked them as virtual unknowns last year to replace Dev so they are absolutely delighted to be able to welcome them back to Wakestock with their full live show.

Joining them is DJ FRESH, one of the most influential figures on the UK drum’n'bass scene. His single “Louder” was the song of the summer last year and went into the charts at Number 1. His third studio album is due for release in 2012 and includes the current massive single “Hot Right Now”. 

Welsh DJ wonderkid HIGH CONTRAST has smashed his way through the D&B scene and has become one of its most iconic and much respected heroes. Returning in 2012 with his fourth album, “The Agony & The Ecstasy” High Contrast is set to reinstate his reputation at the top table with this new album. His single had an exclusive first play from Annie Mac on Radio 1 and is set for release today. He is bringing his brand new show to Wakestock this year which features Jessy Allen on vocals and one of the UK’s most respected MC’s, Dynamite.

Electronic whizz BURNS was signed by Calvin Harris to Deconstruction Records and he’s already toured the world as the support act on Deadmaus’s tour. He has remixed Empire of the Sun’s already brilliant “We Are the People” into a hands-in-the-air modern rave anthem. Meanwhile, his own self-penned work such as “Disko”, shows that he is a stealth superstar in the making. Listen out for him coming over the airwaves this year and don’t miss him at Wakestock!
