Sam Lee And Friends, Danny And The Champions Of The World, Owiny Sigoma Band, The Dreaming Spires & Nick Cope are the first confirmed acts for the 8th Wood Festival. Originally created as an experiment to see how ‘green’ a festival could be, the festival is now one of the UK’s most intimate family festivals. 

This year the event will take place on the 20^th – 22^nd May at Braziers Park, near Wallingford, Oxfordshire and more acts will be announced soon.

Early bird tickets have already sold out in record time, but weekend tickets for this celebration of music and nature are now available. Children aged 12 & under go free accompanied by an adult. Tickets are also available from the Truck Store, Oxford.

2015 will be the YEAR OF THE RED KITE, their animal of focus which has a special animal every year – they join the previously-honoured bees and badgers on their poster. Red kites, medium-sized scavenging birds of prey, were reintroduced to the Chilterns area and can now regularly be seen soaring above the festival site.
