GuilFest organisers are delighted to announce their partnership with Big Cheese Magazine for the second year in a row, with Big Cheese Magazine once again hosting The Rock Cave at GuilFest in July.
The festival’s 21st anniversary will see an amazing rock line up, beginning with the first headliner confirmed for The Big Cheese Cave this year due to popular demand: SKINDRED – headlining on Saturday 14th July!
If you were at the performance at 2011’s festival, you will have no doubt in your mind that this band will literally raise the roof of The Big Cheese Cave with their incredibly infectious mix of dub reggae, heavy metal, punk rock and hiphop. Fronted by the explosive Benji Webb, Skindred have the ability send any arena into a frenzy, and are famous for their full on live shows and ability to ignite crowds. To date Skindred have released four studio albums and eight singles, with their first album, ‘Babylon’, topping the Billboard Top Reggae Albums Chart. Previous year’s festivals have seen huge bands such as Motorhead, Status Quo, Alice Cooper, Uriah Heep, The Stranglers, Gallows, The King Blues, Youmeatsix and many more grace the stages, and 2012 is guaranteed to be no exception. Keep your eyes peeled and ears to the ground for more announcements soon.
