A Relentless Energy Drink sponsored event…

And as the former will agree, there’s no better way to beat off those winter blues than with a good old snow shredding session.

Last year’s Relentless Energy Drink Freeze Festival saw an insane line-up of international skiers and snowboarders rub shoulders with a phenomenal music line-up to kick the season off with a very loud bang.

Beats at Freeze
Set in the shadow of London's colossal Battersea Power Station from 28 - 29 October, this year's event sees Mike Skinner's legendary outfit The Streets play what will likely be their last ever London festival gig, alongside a host of other winter sport and music talents. Groove Armada presents Red Light, Beardyman, Zane Lowe, Everything Everything, The Joy Formidable and Summer Camp have all now been added, with plenty more to come. Also confirmed is the mighty Energy Sessions stage, sponsored by Relentless Energy Drink, with a potent blend of dance and rock music in tow, including Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Pulled Apart By Horses, Modestep, Dirtyphonics and Fixers.

Snowboarding and skiing at Freeze
"An incredible line-up of international skiers and snowboarders and cutting-edge music "Last year, winter sports fans were treated to an incredible display. A larger jump meant an onslaught of technical prowess ensued, with double corks being stomped left, right and centre.

The Relentless snow team stepped up to the mark with a special mention for Jenny Jones who was the only female snowboarder competing amongst the men's field, and finished 12th in the Battle of Britain comp. Garry Greenshields and Dom Harington also took 5th and 6th respectively. Marco Grilc took top honours in the FIS snowboard event with a huge double cork, closely followed by hot rookie Stale Sandbech's backside 1080.

In the skiing, a stellar line-up meant the level of riding was unparalleled with Jacob Wester taking the gold with a stomped double cork 1260 mute grab. Jon Olsson took second, but his attempt at a triple cork 1440 left the crowd gobsmacked as he narrowly missed landing the 4 complete spins.
