Legendary Henry McCullough to Headline Stendhal’s Friday night line-up

What do Joe Cocker, Paul McCartney and Wings, Pink Floyd, Donovan, Sweeney’s men, Marianne Faithful, Andrew Lloyd Webber, the original Woodstock Festival and Stendhal Festival of Art got in common?

Our Headline act for Friday August 17, that’s what.

Yes indeed, Stendhal is so proud to announce that the Legendary Henry McCullough will be gracing our main stage at this year’s festival at Ballymully Cottage Farm, Limavady.

Henry’s list of accomplishments, in what is arguably the greatest career any musician from Northern Ireland has enjoyed, puts him in the upper echelon of great musicians from not only these shores, but anywhere.

The only Irishman to play the original Woodstock Festival, a member of Wings with Paul McCartney, an appearance on Pink Floyd’s seminal masterpiece Dark Side of the moon, the career of Henry McCullough cuts through just about every conceivable facet of rock music and touches upon some of its most glorious moments.

Henry McCullough is justifiably one of rock’s most legendary figures. Check him out at Stendhal on August 17 to see why.

Organiser John Cartwright said: “We are ridiculously excited that Henry will be headlining our Friday night. The man is a living legend that has seen and done it all in the music industry and we are honoured that he will be gracing the stage at Stendhal this year.”

He added: “We are so pleased with the line-up this year and we will be announcing our Saturday Headliner very soon too, so stay tuned.”

Other recent additions to the bill include fast rising rockers Trucker Diablo, the Limavady Big Band, Conor Mason, Chris Keys, Bakken and Tommy Shots, who will take to the stage alongside a host of amazing acts such as Silhouette, Furlo, The Pat McManus Band, The Barley Mob, The Gorgeous Colours, Axis Of, Intermission and many more.

Tickets to the second annual Stendhal Festival of Art are available NOW from Ticketmaster and The Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre.
