The next three festivals featured in the new Channel 4 series - Summer Daze With BlackBerry - are Latitude, Ibiza Rocks and GlobalGathering.
Latitude (12th - 15th July) is the UK’s favourite family-orientated multi-arts festival. Taking place at Henham Park in Suffolk, the line-up for 2012 includes Bon Iver, Elbow and Paul Weller. There will also be comedy from Jack Dee and Greg Davies, a literary line-up that includes celebrated author Siri Hustvedt, poetry from Tim Key and spectacular dance performances from Matthew Bourne’s Early Adventures and Sadler’s Wells.
Ibiza Rocks (18th July) is a 16 week long series of live, open-air gigs throughout Summer 2012. This year’s line-up includes some of the best established and new artists and DJs including Plan B, Kasabian, Bloc Party, Example, Professor Green, Labrinth and Zane Lowe. The gigs take place at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel where the rooms surround the poolside stage. Other Rocks accommodation options include; Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes and - new for 2012 – Ibiza Rocks Hostel.
GlobalGathering (27th - 28th July) is the UK’s most diverse and progressive electronic music festival - featuring incredible live performances, the best in urban beats, world-class DJ’s and an unrivalled party atmosphere. Taking over Stratford Upon Avon’s Long Marston Airfield, the festival will welcome over 50,000 people to a weekend of music from the likes of Tinie Tempah, Chase & Status, Armin van Buuren, Skrillex and Friendly Fires.
Summer Daze With BlackBerry is a brand new series from Monkey, the producers of Made in Chelsea, which follows a group of music fans throughout a summer of festivals. Summer Daze With BlackBerry will follow festival workers, music stars and festival-goers throughout the summer.
The series will air weekly from Saturday 7th July at 12.10pm on Channel 4’s T4.
The series will also TX weekly at 1.45pm on 4Music (Freeview 18, Sky 360, Virgin 330) from 7th July and on E4 at 8.15am from 8th July.
