The Brand New Heavies, ahead of a USA tour, have been announced to play Sunniside Live on the 16th July 2016 at Sunniside Gardens, City of Sunderland, Tyne & Wear. They will be joined by Smoove & Turrell, Picnic, DJ Deja Brew and the Juggernaut Love Band, as well as special guests Alison Limerick and Shola Ama.
Sunniside Live is organised by Helen Davies and Sean Maddison who run both Bar Justice and newly opened Gin & Bear it Bar at West Sunniside and is being supported by Sunderland BID and BBC Newcastle.
Along with the live music this event, which runs from 12pm until 10pm, will include a number of food stalls, a pop-up café by The Place Café, a licenced bar run by Bar Justice and Gin & Bear It, a retro Pimm’s van and a bottle and spirits stall.
