Fallows shoot and Interview with rising Coventry stars The Fallows

I was supposed to be photographing The Fallows on the main stage at the Godiva festival, but once again our great English Summer prevailed and the festival was cancelled due to extreme weather.

(Slightly frustrating given that I had, courtesy of The Fallows, press-pit and access-all-areas passes for the Godiva festival…But it’s no problem…Really…goes to lie in a darkened room..)

So instead I got to enjoy The Fallows performance at the small but very cool Inspire Cafe Bar in Coventry.  If you haven’t seen The Fallows the one word I’d sum them up with is ENERGY.  It’s foot-stompin, acoustic, kick-you-right-in-the-nuts, folk-rock…and it’s flippin’ brilliant.  Ross, lead vocalist, as well as singing and playing the guitar, has this kick drum that when it slams into action gets the whole venue moving.  Layer on top of that guitar, keyboards and awesome fiddle playing and it’s…well, you just have to see them.
