Lancaster duo The Lovely Eggs bring their quirky indie pop mayhem to Scotland to play two gigs as a prelude to their appearance at this summer’s Doune The Rabbit Hole Festival.

The band will perform at Glasgow’s Nice ‘n’ Sleazy’s on May 9th and Edinburgh’s The Third Door on May 10th.  They are touring the UK to support the release of their single, ‘Food’, out on Cherryade Records on May 14th.

The Lovely Eggs describe themselves as “a rallying point for anyone that sees life for what it is. A mess. A wonderful, car crash of experiences, greeting each new chance with a cheeky grin, a sneer and a big f*** you to the pricks. With new single ‘Food’ The Lovely Eggs deliver yet more of the lunacy that makes them so compelling, fun and essential, tuck in.”

Tickets details for both gigs can be found on the Festival website
