Speaking about the event, Rising Festival organisers said: "We're really looking forward to Getting Ahead In Music Day as part of this year's Rising Festival. There are workshops, panel discussions with promoters, managers and funders which will be a real insight into the workings of the music business. There are also taster sessions run by organisations such as Spinnup and Ableton, and also demonstrations of song writing workshops. Hopefully we'll all learn something and be able to exchange ideas on how to make your way into the business in 2016. Look forward to seeing you there." - Lucy Scott (Festival Producer) & Jane Beese (Roundhouse Head of Music)
