All Points East has unveiled co-headline acts, The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie will be performing at Victoria Park on Sunday, 25th August. Marking The Postal Service's return to London after a decade, the event promises to be a special celebration of two iconic groups that have left an indelible mark on the music world.

The co-headline tour commemorates the 20th anniversaries of The Postal Service's "Give Up" and Death Cab for Cutie's "Transatlanticism." Benjamin Gibbard, co-founder of both bands, will showcase his versatility by performing with The Postal Service (comprising Gibbard, Jimmy Tamborello, and Jenny Lewis) and Death Cab for Cutie (with Nick Harmer, Dave Depper, Zac Rae, and Jason McGerr). The highlight of the show will be the complete performance of the seminal 2003 albums by both groups.

Death Cab for Cutie, known for shaping the indie pop and early 2000s emo genres, has left an enduring impact on the music scene. With 10 studio albums, including the critically acclaimed "Asphalt Meadows," their influence remains strong. Gibbard's emotive lyricism continues to resonate, earning him multiple GRAMMY and MTV nominations.

The Postal Service, consisting of Gibbard, Tamborello, and Lewis, returns to London a decade after their last appearance. Born out of collaboration between Tamborello and Gibbard on the Dntel project in 2001, The Postal Service gained fame through remote collaboration, reflecting in their platinum-selling 2003 album, "Give Up." The unique process of creating music through mail contributed to the enduring success and cult following of The Postal Service.

Both groups, pivotal in defining an era, will deliver a one-of-a-kind performance at All Points East, making it a momentous occasion for music enthusiasts. The event not only marks a reunion for these influential bands but also pays homage to their impactful contributions over the past two decades.

The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie join previously announced headliners Loyle Carner (17 August) and LCD Soundsystem (23 August).
