New festival, old friends

We are making the new Trowbridge Festival 2012 the best that the West can bring. We’ve worked - and played - at many festivals over the years, including the old Trowbridge Village Pump Festival, and we’re plugged into the new music and wider festival circuit.

We know how to be family friendly and grown-up friendly too; late night fun running hand in hand with fabulous music, an exciting area for children, and a beautiful site to relax with friends and family.

Music with roots

The Trowbridge Festival is about music too; “music with Roots” means British and World Folk, and so much more: Acoustic, Blues, World Fusion, Afrobeat, Americana, Ska and Roots Reggae, Bluegrass, Swing, Old School R’n’B, New Orleans, Gipsy, Klezmer, Hot Club, Rockabilly, Bhangra, Nu-Folk, Anti-Folk, Wyrd Folk, Trad Folk…

From morning till night, whether you want to get up and get down dancing, or sit down and experience a more traditional vibe.

Roots in the West Country

The West Country is home to some of the best festivals in the world, so come and experience how the folk in the West throw a party. Join us in serious contemplation of local food, beers and ciders!

One of the things that makes the Trowbridge Festival special is our line in great acts from the South West - the cream of the national names in our backyard - plus local arts and local traditions, as well as a multitude of artists from the rest of the country and indeed the rest of the world.

We’ve got a beautiful and spacious site (just up the road from the old Trowbridge Village Pump Festival site at Stowford Manor Farm) with fabulous views and lovely trees. Going for a walk is going to be nearly as good as watching a band!
