Joining already confirmed acts such as Zulu Winter, Jessie Ware, Savages and Rustie will be Devlin, the Dagenham-born, sharp-tongued rapper and MC, who will be closing the festival on Friday 31st August. Having broken through to the forefront of the Urban British scene with his innovative lyrics and talent for delivering complex bars delivered at breakneck speed, Devlin returns this summer with a new album following his hugely successful debut Bud, Sweat and Beers, and promises to deliver a truly memorable closing set.

Also confirmed for 2012 is fellow MC and veteran of the UK grime scene, Skepta, Oxford quintet Foals (DJ Set), whose Tapes mixtape out now on K7! Records has been achieving critical acclaim, and Misha B. Originally gaining the public’s attention as an X Factor finalist, Misha B has since graduated to fully fledged singer/songwriter, as proved by the impressive list of artists she is working with on her debut album including MNEK, Professor Green and Wretch 32.

Tom Baker of Eat Your Own Ears says: "It’s incredible how quickly five years has gone. The first Underage Festival was an amazing event; the atmosphere and energy of the audience, everyone was buzzing from the bands and singing along to all the lyrics. The line up this year is really shaping up and I think will be more focused than ever as there are less stages, but no less thrilling than in previous years. It’s also exciting to be on a new site in Shoreditch Park"

Underage Festival emerged in 2007 to provide a unique and safe environment for young people to enjoy live music and get a taste of the festival experience. Holding the title of ‘World’s First Festival for Under 18s’, Underage still leads the way for teenage events, with its unrivalled credible and innovative line ups. Previous highlights include Dizzee Rascal, Tinie Tempah, Bombay Bicycle Club, M.I.A, The Maccabees, Foals and many more.

Underage is also pleased to announce this year’s media partners are Last FM, I Paper, Live Magazine and BBC Radio 1Xtra.

"Live Magazine – created by teens and young adults and supported by some of the UK's foremost media and brands – are really excited about their first year as media partner for Underage. After a decade discovering and celebrating emerging inner city talent; from next gen music artists to designers and journalists, it feels right to cement Live's significant growth over the last few years by partnering with every discerning teenagers' ultimate music festival. Plus it’s a great way to celebrate Live's 11th birthday!" - Robbie (17), Music Editor, Live Magazine
