Better Festival Group Vacancies and Application Form
Please read our terms and conditions before applying.
Submitting an application indicates that you have read and accept our Terms and Conditions and our Code of Conduct.
All of the vacancies below are Voluntary – you are not paid for your time and are instead given time off during the event to enjoy it in exchange for you working the required hours.
Information on how to apply for any of our vacancies is at the bottom of this page.
DO NOT APPLY FOR A POSITION WITH US IF YOU CANNOT ARRIVE ON THE DATE INDICATED AND REMAIN ON SITE UNTIL THE PROVIDED DEPARTURE DATE
We do not give you these dates for fun, we give them to you because we need you on site from and to the dates given. If you do apply and then fail to arrive or remain on site according to the dates provided you will be blacklisted. It is becoming increasingly difficult to staff ALL the shifts we need to when people apply and then at the last minute start telling us that they cannot commit to the dates. If you cannot commit please do not apply!

How to Apply
It is important to note that we have very good working relationships with various Event Staff Organisations and festivals and should you confirm your attendance with The BFG at any event, and then do not show up or fail to fulfil your onsite requirements, in addition to being blacklisted with The BFG, your name and email address will be forwarded onto the relevant organisations we work closely with. This is so that The BFG can continue to offer these volunteering opportunities with a no deposit required policy which is something I am keen to keep in force. Your details will not be passed onto to any third party, except in the instance above. Should you not agree to this, then you probably aren’t committed enough and should not apply.
You should receive confirmation of your application within 2 weeks of applying. Once you have received your confirmation of acceptance (or addition to reserves list), you may not hear about this vacancy regular until nearer the time, as I wont be getting further information until then. If you receive a confirmation of acceptance email and don’t hear from us for a while, you still have your place. Those on the reserves list will only hear from us if and when they are moved from reserves to confirmed.

Incomplete applications will not be accepted so please ensure that you answer all the questions marked required. Enquiries can be emailed to: [email protected]
