Whitestock are extremely sorry to have to inform you that they have been forced to cancel their Whitestock NYE event. You are their most loyal brownstockers' and the last people they want to disappoint but unfortunately it's a case of that well known British red tape getting in the way of a good party again. They feel it is their duty to offer you an explanation- due to the fact that they moved away from their licensed brownstock festival site for this NYE event, to the secret location, they were required by law to apply for a separate temporary event license. 

Unfortunately they have just heard that the license has been rejected by the local authorities due to timing, not helped by the good old Royal Mail's christmas post delaying the application. This is completely out of their hands and they have done all the pleading they can but to no avail.

All ticket money for Whitestock 2011 will be fully refunded. If you have bought your ticket through View London online, then they will be in touch with you about a refund. If you have bought your ticket directly though one of their ticket agents, then please contant them for a refund. They have been full briefed on the situation. Also, as a gesture of how sad they are to cancel, they can, if you would like, offer you the option to straight swap your Whitestock ticket for a Brownstock Festival 2012 VIP ticket. VIP tickets are only usually available to friends, family and press and give you access to the VIP area of the festival.
