If you love festivals, but hate camping, mud and queues, Brisfest has come up with the perfect solution, Festival Friday – bringing all of the fun of the festival to your workplace this summer. Bristol’s biggest music festival has teamed up with Pieminister, Bath Ales and Heat Recruitment – who will be at Brisfest this September – to stage a pop up festival in one lucky workplace this July.
The line-up for Festival Friday will feature some of Bristol’s best acts, handpicked by Brisfest programmers with Pieminister providing a selection of its delicious pies, perfect for festival goers to feast on, and Bath Ales the beer to wash it all down!
Organisations of all shapes and sizes – including businesses, community groups, charities and clubs – in and around Bristol are being invited to enter the competition. The more times an organisation is nominated, the better chance they’ll have of winning, however each person can only nominate one organisation.
“We’ll be pulling one organisation out of the hat, so to speak, so the more times their name is in there, the more likely they’ll win,” said Brisfest Director, Poppy Stephenson.
“Every person who nominates an organisation will also be automatically entered into a draw to win one of 25 pairs of tickets for Brisfest in September.”
The winning organisation won’t have to lift a finger as Brisfest organisers sweep in and turn the boardroom, community hall, staff canteen or garden into a festival site for one Friday afternoon, creating an experience employees or volunteers will talk about for years to come*.
“Creating an event like this would normally cost thousands, and take months of planning, but we’ve teamed up with Pieminister and Bath Ales to bring this once in a lifetime experience to one lucky organisation in July,” said Poppy Stephenson, Brisfest Festival Director. “It’s our way of reaching out to the people of Bristol and saying “thank-you” for their ongoing support.”
The closing date for nominations is July 6th.
