Record-breakers across the globe and stars of their own forthcoming 3D concert movie, One Direction have announced the first legs of an incredible stadium tour for 2014. Fans globally have patiently been watching the #1BigAnnouncement site countdown for the last week, and today the first set of dates can be revealed.
Set to stop in stadiums all around the world, the band kick off in Latin America in April before returning home to the UK and Ireland.
UK and Ireland:
24th May – Croke Park, Dublin
28th May – Stadium of Light, Sunderland
31st May – Manchester Etihad Stadium, Manchester
3rd June – Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh
7th June – Wembley Stadium, London
All UK and Ireland dates on sale Saturday 25th May 2013 at 10am ticket links will be provided. Standing tickets only available to persons aged 12 and over. No under 16’s will be allowed on the pitch unless accompanied by an adult. There are no age restrictions for seated tickets. Standing tickets only available to persons aged 14 and over. With their two globe conquering albums, ‘Up All Night’ and ‘Take Me Home’, One Direction – Niall, Louis, Harry, Liam and Zayn – have established themselves as the biggest, most exciting and in-demand band in pop music worldwide. Their current ‘Take Me Home’ tour has so far taken them to arenas across Europe, and this summer will head to the US before ending in Australia and Japan in November. Their highly anticipated 3D concert film “This Is Us”, directed by Morgan Spurlock, will be released in August 2013.
