Cheltenham Comedy Festival 2012 Overview

They're back for their second year of mirth and merriment for all! The festival was started in November 2011, and the brainchild of Mark Makin, of local arts producers makin projects and Graeme Merifield from the towns’ already massively successful Wychwood Festival.

The festival is delivered in close consultation with our valued festival partners The Cheltenham Town Hall and The Parabola Arts Centre and will again boast an enviable line up of top comedians and up and coming stars performing in numerous venues across the town from Monday 12th to Saturday 17th November 2012.

They’re delighted to welcome The Wychwood Brewery with their Hobgoblin beer to the festival as our headline sponsors. Watch out for the Goblin at festival time as he’ll be up to mischief we’re sure.

A packed programme of laughs is planned for you all with highlights including Rhod Gilbert, Julian Clary, Frankie Boyle, Josie Long, Robin Ince & Michael Legge, Henning Wehn, Monkey Poet & Johnny Fluffy Punk and the return of The Boy With Tape On His Face with his brand new show!
